Valentines Day!

We had a fun day while Coen & Duke both got to open a little something for Valentines. We went out for lunch & then to the park for the afternoon. Here are pictures of our Valentines Day.

Jonathan & I decided not to get each other anything for Valentines. I did get him a card though, but he surprised me with a white gold bracelet with my birthstone in it. He is such a little sneak sometimes.

School Spirit Week

So, this week was school spirit week at daycare & Coen participated everyday. We really enjoy doing all the activities at the daycare. Coen really likes his school & has so much fun with all his friends. Here are pictures of the different days & what they had to do.

Coen is sporting a Charlotte Bobcats jersey. We couldn't find the right size jersey in his favorite team....DUKE! (Go Blue Devils) Don't worry, he'll have one soon.

Coen's first birthday!

Well, our little man is now one and growing up so fast. It just doesn't seem as if a year has gone by already. We had a big celebration with some good chicken stew & lots of family & friends. I think the best part of Coen's big day was watching him dig into his cake. I was hoping he would get messy with it and that he did. Here are lots pictures.

Ravioli!

Coen is becoming very independent these days. I tried feeding him ravioli the other night & he just wasn't having it. He wanted to do it himself, So I gave him his spoon & let him have it. It is obvious that he would rather use his hands than the spoon. He made a huge mess, but he was having fun & ate all of his dinner. Here are a few pictures of him after he was finished eating.
