Cupcake website

My new website is now up & running thanks to Jonathan. Most of you know that I decorated cakes but I have now switched to cupcakes. They are just easier and faster for me to make.

Here's the link to the site.

For the chocolate/peanut butter lover

As most of you know I had gotten into making cakes, well now I'm getting into cupcakes. I have been wanting to try this new cupcake which I've called the "double chocolate peanut butter cup". Of course it's a double chocolate cake with a peanut butter frosting topped with Reece's Pieces candy. Here are some pictures of them that I have taken with my new camera. I love my new camera by the way. It takes awesome pictures.

Easter

Happy Easter! After church this morning we went to grammy's house where we took some pictures & Coen hunted for Easter eggs. It was a beautiful day to be outside.

Coen being a typical little boy. He was trying to get to the neighbors dog.

and here is a collage of my Easter cupcakes I made.

A bike ride

Saturday afternoon Coen I went for a bike ride together for the first time. For Christmas Jonathan & I both got new bikes to ride & in February for my birthday I got a bike trailer so Coen can join us. It's was finally warm enough so I wanted to test it out & see if Coen liked it. He loved it, he was shouting & laughing the whole way down the street. I can see lots of bike rides coming soon.

The Biltmore House

This weekend Jonathan & I took a weekend trip to Asheville for our 5th wedding anniversary. We spent time walking around downtown Asheville enjoying all the local shops and tasted some of the best chocolate truffles in Western North Carolina at the Chocolate Fetish. My favorite was the key lime pie truffle & the french velvet truffle. Then we were off the to see the Biltmore House which was beautiful. We had a great time we were not ready to come. I wish I had more pictures to show but we were not allowed to take pictures inside the Biltmore house. We did manage to get one picture of us in front of the Biltmore.

Then it was back to reality after we got home with Coen. As you can see he got very creative with his tub markers tonight at bath time. We didn't want our trip to end but we did miss our little munchkin.

So sleepy

This is what happens when you are to exhausted to eat lunch.

Valentine's Day

We had a great Valentine's Day & we want to thank everyone for all of Coen's Valentine gifts. They are very appreciated. I did take some pictures of Coen opening his package that his Grammy sent him through the mail since she was going to be out of town. In the package was 2 chocolate monkey faces. They were cute and very tasty too. Thanks Grammy!

I got surprised with a bouquet of flowers at work on Friday & on Valentine's Day I received a beautiful key shaped necklace with white & black diamonds in it. I loved it! Jonathan, thanks for making my Valentine's Day special. You are always putting a smile on my face & you hold the key to my heart. I love you!

ABC......

Here's Coen saying his Abc's. We have been practicing them almost every night before bed time. As for the hat, I found it laying in his closet when I cleaned it out & he wanted to wear it.

My little lion

Here is Coen using his hooded towel made to look like a lion. He got this as a gift last Christmas (2008-his first Christmas). He is now finally big enough to use it. I thought it was cute and had to get a picture. He really liked it tonight after his bath so I'm probably going to try to find him some more of these cute towels but different animals. Hum....I wonder if I could find an Elmo one since he is an Elmo fan.

Coen's 2 year check up

Today Coen went to the doctor for a 2 year wellness visit. Everything went well and he is very healthy. He weighed in at 32 pounds & was 36 1/2 inches long. He was in the 97th percentile in height & 78th percentile in weight.
