Playing with Duke

Duke has finally gotten use to Coen being around. He wouldn't come around Coen much, but now they like to play and entertain each other. Here are a few pictures of them playing tug-a-war with duke's toy.

and here is a good picture of Jonathan and Coen together

Ouch!

Coen has been getting brave the last couple of nights. When he pulls up to stand, he is now letting go and trying to take a step. Well, he pulled up on his changing table this morning and then let go. He then took about 2 steps and found himself head first into the wall. I was standing close to him but it happened so fast that I couldn't catch him in time. He fell into the base board. Poor guy! He pulls up all the time but I just didn't expect him to try and take a few steps on his own. I have a feeling that he will be walking very soon. I hate to see him get hurt but I guess that's part of learning and growing up in life. Here are a couple of pictures with his boo-boo above his eye.

Coen the turtle

Happy Halloween! Coen's first Halloween was so much fun. He was a turtle and might I add, the cutest turtle ever. We visited all the grandparents and even went to a trunk-or-treat at a church. He got lots of goodies like candy, cookies, a Halloween bear and Halloween books. When the night was over he was a tired little turtle. Here are some pictures.

Halloween is almost here

We found this really cute Halloween shirt, the ghost lights up every time he moves. I'm surprised the light hasn't gone out yet because Coen is on the move constantly. We also were able to carve out our pumpkin the other night. Coen got to help me clean it out after we carved it. He tried to eat some of the pumpkin and then found out it wasn't to tasty. Here are some pictures.

Biter Biscuit!

Now that Coen has two bottom teeth, we started giving him biter biscuits. He loves them. He makes a huge mess while eating it, but he seems to really enjoy them.

Staying warm!

We were shopping the other day at Target and as we were heading to the check-out line I seen these cute toboggans. I tried one on Coen and it was so adorable I had to buy it. Coen doesn't like for anything to be on his head. He is always pulling it off just like he does with his socks and shoes. So, we were heading off to daycare the other morning and it was cold so I put on his toboggan. I was hoping he would leave it on and for some reason he did. So I ran into the house real quick to grab the camera.Check him out, he is just so cute with his toboggan on.

Coen's first trip to the pumpkin patch.

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I couldn't wait to take Coen to a pumpkin patch for the first time. Coen had a fun time and there were so many things to look at. We bought us a big pumpkin and some home-made apple butter. Here are some cute pictures of Coen at the pumpkin patch.
